This is a place where you will receive both peaceful privacy and genuine hospitality. We’re not trained hoteliers – we just do things our way, offering what we would enjoy in terms of amenities, service and attitude. We can do a lot to assist in your enjoyment of the and to make sure that you don’t waste time on less than excellent visits, experiences and dining. It’s not so easy to describe precisely the sensation of staying here, but to attempt I can say that we can give you the choice between total independence and privacy – and the level of attention and care that you might offer to visiting friends in your home. Our priority is ensuring the individual’s experience with us is as good as it could possibly be. You entrust us with your valuable ‘free’ time. It’s a responsibility we take very seriously. We give you the keys and access to all we think you’d need to feel at home. You can be fully independent if you wish. Some guests we hardly see – they’re busy being together, on retreat. Others love to hang out and chat, take advice on every step of their Tuscan adventure. Either way it’s just fine.
In 2018 there are some important additions to our original ‘Luxury Bed And Breakfast’ offer; we now have a food license (and Amanda is on hand in the evenings to cater for your every whim in the kitchen). Cooking is focussed around intensely tasty homegrown or garden food, certainly vegetables and vegetarian dishes are a strong point but equally we offer the superb local organic & grass fed Chianina T bone steak as well as our home produced Saffron served in the form of Risotto Milanese – made with beef bone broth – and a range of other wholesome and home cooked dishes. In addition it’s our pleasure to offer some of our favourite Tuscan wines at the direct vineyard rate for you to enjoy in house.
