The Brooklyn Blonde, Helena Glazer, visited Siena House in June, staying for 5 nights with her family:

“This place has 5 rooms, and it operates like a cross between a luxury villa and a bed and breakfast. It’s a wife and husband owned property. Cannot recommend this place enough. Super reasonable price.”

Check out Helena’s Italy Highlights on Instagram, about a quarter of the way in, to see several videos of Siena House inside and out, along with some great ideas for activities during your stay.

Katja Meier visits to review us for The Telegraph. We manage to delight her with a fabulous 60-day aged, grass-fed Chianina T-Bone steak sourced from our local farm.

The Telegraph review of Siena House. 2018.

“A surprisingly stylish home-away-from-home in an area known for beautiful landscapes and towns but rarely for good contemporary design. But it’s not just about looks. This family-run boutique hotel is well-located and provides exceptional tailor-made experiences.”

Chris Borg, a filmmaker from Malta, visits us again, hoping for better weather. Although he gets slightly more sunshine than in his February trip, it’s still minimal. Despite this, he makes the most of his visit, creating a stunning video that showcases the experience of traveling to Tuscany, with our property prominently featured.

Tripadvisor, March 2018. According to Tripadvisor’s new combined ranking for Hotels, B&Bs, and Specialty Lodgings, Siena House is now ranked #5 out of 4,195 B&Bs in Tuscany. The ranking system has been updated to consider the consistency in quality over time and has restored the overall Tuscany ranking that was previously divided into over 200 local zones.

This incredible boost for Siena House is due entirely to our amazing guests and their excellent reviews. Thank you all so much for your support and kind words!

In October 2017, the cast of “Made In Chelsea” chose Siena House as their Tuscany villa base for filming. The cast spent 6 nights here, enjoying some of our favorite Tuscan experiences, including white truffle hunting. Amanda prepared the truffles for a jazz dinner behind the scenes.

This was our first experience hosting a film crew and providing our concierge services for a TV show. On the final day, the entire crew of 24 people gathered at the house for a big lunch and an afternoon of filming. Siena House proudly served as “Made In Chelsea’s” villa in Tuscany.

La Maison, ‘The Art of Living,’ France 5’s long-running TV show, featured Siena House in their Christmas Special as a unique property in Tuscany. It was a wonderful experience. Stéphane Thebaut and his team did a spectacular job portraying the house from the inside, outside, and from the air. Malvin was a bit stressed due to the rare foggy morning and the challenge of being interviewed in French while replying in Italian! You can find excerpts and the full program on our YouTube channel below.

Dumitru Brinzan stayed with us for 5 nights and wrote an excellent review, capturing stunning photographs of Siena House. He described it as the perfect base for exploring Tuscany.

Article in Harpers Bazaar: Yvette King, a Korean-Australian TV host, stayed with her husband at Siena House. She later featured it as the ‘Best Place To Stay in Tuscany’ in her Travel Guide To Tuscany.

Harper's Bazaar Review of Siena House

“Siena House is a refurbished farm house situated on the Tuscan Hills amid vineyards, sunflower fields and fresh fruit and vegetable gardens in the backyard; it’s what Italian holiday dreams are made of.”

StuffeeStuff Luxury Travel Blog: Amy stayed with her family and wrote a wonderful review, especially relevant for Tuscany travelers with young children.

“Each day’s breakfast was a mini vacation in and of itself, leisurely enjoyed at a table in the morning sunshine. Our baby girl napped beside us in the fresh Italian air and distant church bells rang beyond the Cyprus trees in the neighbouring town of Sinalingula. Bellissimo!”

Indagare Travel (NYC Travel Planner & Magazine) visit & review Siena House:

“A perfect launch pad to towns like Cortona to the east and Montepulciano and Siena to the northwest, this 18th-century villa proves refreshingly contemporary on the inside even as it remains perfectly Tuscan country on the outside. Siena House is for people who are looking for a more intimate experience than a typical resort, one with the kind of design that breaks from the fusty Tuscan model of terracotta, dark woods, and lack of interior light. The place is perfect for families; the villa is also available for full rental.”

Tripadvisor ranks Siena House as the #4 B&B in all of Italy, #2 in Tuscany, and #1 in the Province of Siena. Remarkably, the #1 B&B in the world is also located in Tuscany!
